One for the history buffs

Best Leadership Book by a Woman --- Written for Both GendersReading it this second time around, I chose to do so with for 3 purposes: Develop my ability to attract an excellent board of directors; create wonderful sales literatures that attract people to my seminars. And find more quotes to use, as opening to my seminar presentations.
Wow! I found what I was looking for. And I am sure that when I read it again, in the very near future, I will grow in my life's journey.
Another interesting point that I discovered during this second read is that years ago, when I finished my military career, I had often asked corporate civilians what the difference is between leadership and management -- Sheila Murray-Bethel definitely answers this in this book.
Read this book to get more out of your life.
Great book on leadership principlesI would also recommend reading "Leadership from the Inside Out" by Kevin Cashman and "The Book of Leadership Wisdom" and almost any book by Ken Blanchard (like Gung Ho)or John C. Maxwell.
Making a Difference is a leadership classic! Get it now!

Read it twice
Been There; Didn't Know ThatThis book is an amazing, and surprisingly humorous, inside look at the machinations I never saw. The sometimes bizarre efforts that made Woodstock possible.
Even if you don't agree with the Woodstock sentiment, you should buy this book as a reference to THE icon of 1960s America.

America- A Destiny UnveiledI look forward to reading more of Tellis Bethel's work and encourage others to get this book- it's a must have for every library.

Currently the best book on sales communication.

The Healing Power of Herbs by Mae Bethel

Good introductory bookwith the abundance of very practical procedures.

The Life and Wisdom of a Great Educator and Buddhist LeaderMr. Makiguchi had spent a lifetime developing his "value-creating" educational philosophy from his experience as teacher, principal, and teacher of teachers before he founded the Buddhist lay organization.
A man ahead of his time, Mr. Makiguchi made proposals over sixty years ago that are being made anew today. He was staunchly opposed to the rote memorization that was the backbone of Japanese pedagogy in his day (and largely remains so today), and he called for greater involvement by community members in the education of children.
The author, himself an educator, gives a clear and vivid picture of the magnitude and revolutionary quality of Mr. Makiguchi's theories. Until this book, Tsunesaburo Makiguchi has gone virtually unrecognized in the West because so little information on non-Western educators has been available in English. This work fills a need at a time when Mr. Makiguchi's impact on education and society is of increasing importance.

Top notch Regimental HistoryThis regiment is not as well known as the the 26th NC, but their trevails at Gettysburg was just as horrible. It also illustrates how they were used in the Overland Campaign...and the perils and suffering that they went through in 1864.
I heartily recommend the book, and can confidently say if you read it, it will be tough to put down.

Pordy's Prickly Problem is a book you just can't put down.
